Akhmed Fazylovich Erikeev was born in 1902 in the village of Ulkundy (now Duvan district, Bashkortostan) into a peasant family.
The poet became famous for his poems and songs. In them, he glorified his homeland, peaceful labour, life under the Soviet system, friendship of peoples.
In 1927, Erikeev enters the Moscow State Institute of Journalism, while in Moscow he publishes his works in the Tatar language in local newspapers and magazines, he himself works in the editorial office.
In 1934, the poet was admitted to the Union of Writers of the USSR. During the Great Patriotic War, Akhmet Erikeev serves in front-line newspapers.
In Moscow on September 15, 1967, the poet died.
