Zakir Sadykovich Rameev was born on November 23, 1859, into a merchant's family.
A classic of Tatar literature, a well-known gold miner and philanthropist, an Orenburg merchant of the first guild. Member of the State Duma of the first convocation (from the Orenburg province).
Zakir Rameev was engaged in literary activity. He signed his poems with the pseudonym Dardmend, which translated from Persian means saddened, compassionate.
Dardmend's poems are deeply philosophical and symbolic. His poems are imbued with their unique charm, they are sad and melodic.
 He died on October 09, 1920.
